When the hexagonal nut is tightened, the tapered bolt is pulled into the expansion clip and expands it against the drill hole wall.

1. For series installation we recommend the anchor bolt setting tool FABS (see page 119) to reduce installation time.
2. Before driving in, the hexagon nut should be brought into the optimal installation position (the bolt projects by 2 to 3 mm).
